The ADC08138CIWM is an 8-bit successive approximation A/D converter with serial I/O and configurable input multiplexers with up to 8 channels. The serial I/O is configured to comply with the NSC MICROWIRE. Serial data exchange standard for easy interface to the COPS. The ADC08138CIWM can easily interface with standard shift registers or microprocessors. The applications of the ADC08138CIWM include digitizing automotive sensors, Process control/monitoring, remote sensing in noisy environments, and embedded diagnostics.
